Certain rhythms inspire people to move, de-stress, and bring joy. These are what I focus on sharing with my students.
I want you to get past simply being the time keeper for a band and play songs on your own.
I teach all students the Bes method which is a 3-drum system, consisting of a low, mid and high. This style of drum playing originated in Egypt and was written about on the walls of the pyramids. Bes was the Egyptian god of music.
The drums we play on are from the Junjun family.
It doesn't matter if you've never touched a drum before. We're going to get you off on the right track, and you're going to have a great time doing it.

In a workshop we're a little more focused on technique and the Bes method than with a party. It's a great jump start to learning the Bes method, and by the time you leave you'll be playing music.
